Roof repair, done in one visit where we can

Slipped slates, a cracked valley, a ridge tile lifted by wind, flashing that has come away from the chimney. We carry slate, tile, lead and fixings on the van, so most repairs are finished the same day we come out.

Storm damage? Send a photo to WhatsApp and we will tell you if it can wait.

Questions

Roof repair questions we get asked

How quickly can you come out for a leak?

For an active leak we aim to be on site within 48 hours across Kerry, Cork, Limerick and Waterford. If water is coming into the house we will usually get a temporary cover on the same day and come back to do the permanent repair.

How much does a roof repair cost in Ireland?

Small repairs such as a few slipped slates or a section of ridge normally land in the low hundreds. Anything needing scaffold, lead work or structural timber costs more. We price per job after seeing the roof, and the survey is free.

Do you need scaffolding for a small repair?

Not always. A short ladder-and-roof-ladder job is fine for a handful of slates on a low roof. Scaffold is needed for steep roofs, chimney work, anything at height over a public path, and any job that will take more than a day.

Will you provide a report for an insurance claim?

Yes. For storm damage we photograph the damage, describe the cause and give an itemised cost. Insurers in Ireland generally want to see that the damage was sudden rather than long term wear, and the photos help with that.
